Providing physical therapy (physiotherapy) in Tokyo since 1993. Graduate of The University of Michigan School of Physical Therapy: 1986. Licensed in the U.S. (California) since 1986 and by the Japanese Health Ministry since 1993. Services include traditional and manual therapy for orthopedic, sports, and neurological injuries or conditions, post-operative recovery, pain and dysfunction, rheumatism, headaches, repetitive stress injury and more. Treatment programs are personalized to achieve patient goals, and all sessions are one-on-one and completely private. Some examples of manual therapy available include joint mobilization, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (P.N.F), myofascial release, strain-counterstrain, muscle energy technique and others. Exercises are provided as appropriate for re-conditioning, flexibility, balance, postural re-education, improving function, etc. Modalities include ultrasound, T.E.N.S, diathermy, electrical stimulation, traction, Sympathetic Therapy System, and others.
